This tangerine-toned perennial really is sunshine in a plant, and its colourful blooms will brighten up all garden spaces with ease. Unsurprisingly, it enjoys basking in the sun and is a real summer plant, so position somewhere it can soak up the rays.
Osteospermum plants are also known as African Daisies, in reference to their country of origin and how simillar their blooms are in appearance to daisies.
Osteospermums are half-hardy plants so will need protection from harsh weather and frosts. If you have planted them in pots, bring them inside to conservatories and greenhouses where they will continue flowering. If planted into a bed, make sure this is somewhere sheltered.
Buying your Osteospermums in a bundle of three means you can group them together for a bright and beautiful display, or dot them around your garden for a little zing at every turn.

Jo's Top Tip
Deadhead this plant to prolong its flowering period and consider 'tip-pinching' to encourage bushiness - this means removing the tip of the main stem, forcing your plant to grow two stems instead.
