Boston Fern

Regular price £13.00

If someone is lucky enough to be receiving this plant as a gift, don't forget to enter your gift message at the basket and we'll add a free handwritten card with your order (also we won't include any paperwork with prices on!).

Otherwise known as a Nephrolepis Exaltata, this plant enjoys a humid environment so a bathroom or kitchen is an ideal substitute to it’s natural habitat due to the steam. Find a spot with indirect light and this plant will thrive, although too much direct light and the leaves will turn yellow. Ferns enjoy being well watered so avoid allowing the soil to dry out by watering little and often and mist regularly to recreate the effects of a humid environment. Feel free to give this plant the occasional trim to keep it fresh and tidy. This plant is safe around pets and humans.

All our houseplants come with a beautiful keepsake postcard with care instructions so you'll never kill your houseplant again!

FACT: There are more than 200 varieties of ferns!

It’s not just our products that are green. 95% of our packaging is either biodegradable or recyclable (and we’re working hard on that last 5%, it’s just the pesky plastic top from our ‘anti-roll system’ left to replace). As a company we’ve made a concerted effort to switch to sustainable packaging, it costs twice the price but at least we sleep well at night!
