To bring some colour and joy to winter days, the Cyclamen is the perfect plant. With tall, pink blooms and marbled, heart-shaped leaves, it will add a pop of colour and perk up your home with ease. Expect to see this plant bloom for around six weeks - it makes a great gift for Christmas and winter birthdays.
The Cyclamen is sometimes called Sowbread because they are said to be eaten by wild pigs.
To ensure the Cyclamen thrives, position it in a cool, bright spot, away from direct sunlight and radiators. It can be sensitive to both over and under watering, so strike a balance by watering when soil feels dry to touch. Water directly into the soil - don’t let any water touch the stems or leaves.

Jo's Top Tip
Don't forget that after this plant blooms in winter, it will go into a dormant state during summer. The leaves may droop, turn yellow or fall off - but don't panic, it isn't dead, it's just resting until it blooms again!
