With long lance-shaped green leaves and clusters of dainty and delicate pink flowers, the Daphne makes for a beautiful contrasting display. Its blooms also have a sweet scent to them. It works well in either potted on the patio, or planted straight into the ground.
Who needs a room diffuser or scented candle when you have this plant in your garden? Cut off a few stems and bring inside in a small jar or vase to fill your home with a jasmine-like aroma.
The Daphne will appreciate a sunny location in your garden, but can also handle partial shade. It may need some shelter from strong winds. Expect to see it flower between December and April.
