The Foxglove is a pretty iconic flower - many of the B&D team have fond early memories of these gorgeous plants in their parents' or grandparents' gardens. Its tubular blooms are instantly recognisable and adored by humans and pollinators alike.
Often growing to heights of 6 feet, this is the perfect plant to bring depth and vertical interest to your garden. Its blooms are long-lasting, providing colour for several weeks of the summer season and they can be cut to make a gorgeous bouquet.
If left to their own devices, Foxgloves will drop their seeds and flower widely - you can let them run wild in borders or avoid this by dead heading after they have flowered. The more Foxgloves you grow, the more bees you can expect to visit your garden - they're like moths to a very pretty flame!
