Geraniums are a large genus of plants with around 300 species. They're popular plants for many garden types, as they're hardy and easy to grow, but despite the big family, it certainly doesn't make the Karmina any less special. Interestingly, the Karmina's leaves turn a bright orange-red colour in autumn.
This is a low-growing plant with a spreading habit, so forms a stunning carpet if that's the look you're after.
The Geranium Karmina will thrive with moist but well-drained soil, and in a spot with sun to partial shade. Its flowering period is between May and July. Like other Geraniums, it has nectar-rich-flowers and will attract bees and butterflies to your garden.
