Hoya Australis is an evergreen, climbing vine that belongs to the Apocynaceae botanical family. There are over 200 species of Hoya and this one can get pretty tall if not trimmed regularly. It's very easy to care for and has air-purifying qualities, too.
In the wild you will find these growing in rainforests and are known for attracting butterflies. Cute!
With origins in the northeastern coast of Australia, these plants thrive in humid environments. Also, as they grow on the canopy floor in the wild, they can tolerate a bit of shade but you'll get better results with bright, indirect light.

Jo's Top Tip
As Hoya plants are succulents they store water, so don't be over-zealous when it comes to watering them. In fact, too much water could kill. Your Hoya will thank you for keeping it in a humid envronment, such as your bathroom or kitchen, and if you're lucky it might even reward you with delicate flowers throughout the summer months.
