Looking for unapologetically big blooms? Look no further than the Busy Lizzie. The New Guinea variety of this plant tends to grow larger flowers compared traditional Busy Lizzies, and better still, this mixed variety will bring a diversity of colour to your garden with flowers in shades of lilac, red, rose and orange.
This plant's flowering period runs between mid summer to autumn. The Busy Lizzie will easily cover a bed and border, and works well in a pot or basket, too.
The Impatiens New Guinea isn't too fussy with how much light it gets. It'll thrive in shade, but equally it may produce more flowers in light spots. They are a bit more sensitive to cold and wet weather, so consider bringing inside during autumn and winter, or growing in a flowerbed that offers shelter.
