There's beauty in simplicity - and that's the case for the white Osteospermum. Its pure white, daisy-like flowers prove that blooms don't have to be brightly coloured in order to make a statement. They also work well in pots thanks to their compact shape.
Osteospermum plants are also known as African Daisies, in reference to their country of origin and how similar their blooms are in appearance to daisies.
Osteospermums are half-hardy plants so will need protection from harsh weather and frosts. If you have planted them in pots, bring them inside to conservatories and greenhouses where they will continue flowering. If planted into a bed, make sure this is somewhere sheltered. It needs full sun or partial shade to thrive.
