Rhipsalis is a common species of cactus and is epiphytic, meaning they grow attached to other plants, and in this case the Rhipsalis Burchellii likes to attach itself to trees. This cactus hails from Brazil and it can produce mistletoe-like berries when mature.
The Rhipsalis Cactus grows in rainforests in central and southern America and Africa and are said to help purify the air.
Despite being a cactus, this plant does not have spikes and is a quick grower that can produce trail vines. It is very easy to care for and will still survive if you forget to water it. Spray it from time to time and allow it to dry out in between waters.
