Cosmos, also known as Mexican Aster, brings effortless beauty to borders and cutting gardens alike. Originally growing wild in the scrub and meadowlands of Mexico, it was later introduced as an ornamental favourite — loved for its airy stems and perfectly ordered petals.
The name ‘Cosmos’ comes from the Greek word for harmony, a nod to its calm, balanced blooms. The Psyche Mix variety is especially striking, producing large, silky flowers in shades of crimson, lavender-pink and white — a soft yet vibrant display that flowers generously through the season.
