Bees do love a free lunch, and this tube is practically a buffet. Five large seed balls blended with Red Clover, Phacelia, Wild Marjoram, Cornflower, Borage and Viper's Bugloss, a nectar-rich mix that bees are drawn to.
Press the seed balls onto soil or compost, water well and wait. Peat-free compost, clay and sand hold each one together, and the plastic-free tube is slim enough to slip into a stocking.
A small present for anyone who stops mid-walk to watch a bumblebee, and then tells you all about it.
