Calathea Makoyana - Calathea makoyana
The Calathea Makoyana is commonly known as the Peacock Plant, and once you see the leaves up close you'll understand the name instantly. Pale green leaves with a fine, feathered dark green pattern and deep purple undersides that show beautifully as the leaves fold upward in the evening and open again each morning.
Keep the Makoyana in indirect light away from any direct sun, water with room-temperature water when the surface of the soil feels dry, and it'll be a genuinely eye-catching addition to a shaded corner or bathroom shelf.
