Calathea Orbifolia - Round-leaved calathea
The Calathea Orbifolia is one of the most sought-after indoor plants, and it's easy to see why. Wide, rounded leaves in soft silver-green with darker banded stripes give it a quiet elegance that works in almost any interior - minimal or maximalist, it fits. You'll notice the leaves gently folding upward in the evening and opening again each morning, which never really gets old.
Keep the Orbifolia away from direct sunlight and draughts, water with room-temperature water when the top of the soil feels dry, and give it a little humidity where you can - a light mist or a spot near a bathroom works well.
