A little about this plant

Ceanothus impressus 'Victoria' - Ceanothus impressus 'Victoria'

Come April and May, the Ceanothus 'Victoria' is covered in the most intense blue blossom - the kind of blue that's genuinely hard to find in a garden. It's an evergreen shrub, so there's glossy green foliage to enjoy all year, and it grows quickly once settled. The key thing with ceanothus is warmth - plant it against a sunny, sheltered fence or wall and it'll thrive with very little attention. It doesn't love being cut back hard, so a light tidy after flowering is all it needs.

Decorative pot not included.

outdoor plant FAQs

How long should I wait until repotting my outdoor plant?

Your outdoor plant will be happiest planted into the garden as soon as possible after it arrives, provided the ground isn't frozen or waterlogged.
Spring and autumn are the best seasons for planting, but with a little extra watering, many outdoor plants can also be planted successfully during summer.

How often should I water it?

Water well after planting, then continue watering regularly for the first few weeks while the roots establish.

Will the plant surive all year round outside?

Most outdoor plants are chosen to grow outside and can happily stay outdoors all year round. However, this does depend on the specific plant variety and the conditions in your garden.
