We measure plant height from the base of the pot to the very tip of the tallest leaf, held straight upright. This is the height listed on our site. Once your plant settles in and relaxes, it may sit a little lower. No two plants are the same, so some variation is natural.

Praised for being one of the easiest indoor trees to grow, this plant can reach around six feet in height. It's quite a spectacle in any room, given its long leaves that are coloured in greens and dark reds around the edges. It's also useful for removing toxins found in everyday household cleaning products.
While the Marginata is a tall plant, it's a slow grower, so don't expect it to shoot up instantly. You know what they say - Rome wasn't built in a day!
Neglect this plant for a while and it will probably still survive - not that we'd recommend you do that, of course! Show the Marginata love with humidity and frequent mistings of its leaves.

Returns
If you'd like to return a living item, let the team know within 30 days by emailing hello@beardsanddaisies.co.uk or live chat if online. Please attach a photo of the faulty or damaged plant. Other items can be returned for a refund within 30 days as long as they're unused and in re-saleable condition.
