Euphorbia Trigona Cactus - African Milk Tree
This unique looking plant may have cactus in its name but it's actually a succulent that's native to West Africa, but can also be found in tropical Asia and India. It has unique spines along its stems and small leaves that cover the edges of the stems and stalk. This plant comes with one of our lux earthenware pot that will perfectly fit your new plant.

The Euphorbia Trigona Cactus is easy to care for, but remember that it will need dusting to unblock its pores, helping it to breathe. They also have a tendency to be top heavy due to their shallow roots so do expect to support the plant with canes where necessary.

Perfect finishing touch

I recently redecorated my front room and needed some plants for the "finishing touch", so I adopted an Euphorbia Trigona in a graphite grey pot along with the air purifying bundle (Peace Lily in the photo being one of them).

The Trigona needs to be supported, which I have done with a plant pole with moss inside, to prevent it from impersonating the Tower of Pisa and you need to wear gloves when transplanting into the pot (extra soil also required) as it is quite prickly.

The result is spectacular and all adoptees and plant parent are very happy :-)
