A little about this plant
Green Velvet Alocasia - Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek'

The Alocasia Frydek is immediately recognisable - those deep velvety green leaves with their bright white veining are some of the most graphic in the whole plant world. It has a richness to it that makes a real impact in a room, and this artificial version captures the texture and contrast of the real thing without the fussiness the real Frydek is known for in lower humidity homes.

It suits modern and maximalist spaces equally well, and works particularly well on a plant stand or in a prominent corner where the leaf detail can be properly appreciated. The dark colouring pairs well with warm neutrals and earthy tones.

It won't surprise you that an artificial plant has very few care needs! But there are a few things you can do to get the best from yours:

  • Your plant will come in its own pot, but we recommend placing it in a decorative pot of your choice for stability.
  • Give your plant a dusting with a damp cloth every few weeks.
  • Our artificial plants are not UV-resistant, so keep yours inside to avoid sun or wind damage and to prevent fading or broken leaves.
  • Feel free to bend your plant into position, it can handle it!
