Plants don't always settle in perfectly, and we get that. That's why every live plant comes with a 12-month guarantee. If your plant's health significantly declines any time between 30 days and 12 months after delivery, we'll give you 50% off a replacement.
Kentia Palm - Howea forsteriana
The Kentia Palm has been the houseplant of grand hotels and drawing rooms since Victorian times, and it hasn't gone out of style since. Native to Lord Howe Island off the coast of Australia, it brings soft, deep green fronds and a proper sense of height to a room. It grows slowly, so the size you choose is the size you'll enjoy for a good while.
It's wonderfully easygoing. Bright, indirect light is ideal, though it will tolerate a shadier corner better than most palms. It's pet-friendly too, so cats and dogs can brush past without worry.
This one arrives planted into a self-watering insert, sitting inside the Elho Vibes pot. Made in Holland from recycled plastic, the pot does the remembering for you. Fill the reservoir and your palm drinks exactly what it needs, when it needs it.
One thing to know - your plant travels dry. When it arrives, fill the reservoir and give the soil a light water from the top. That's its first drink at home, and from then on you'll only need to top up the reservoir every few weeks.
Plant available in 5 sizes, in 3 pot colours.
