Mixed Species Crocus - Crocus species mix
Smaller and earlier than the large Dutch crocus, with narrower flowers in a mix of colours. Because the varieties open at slightly different times, the display runs for longer than a single-variety planting. Well suited to pots, gravel and the front of a border where the scale isn't lost.
Plant 25 or more in lawns, rockeries or along border edges, where they naturalise freely. A shallow 20cm pot takes 15–20 bulbs.
Can cause stomach upset in cats and dogs if eaten.
