A little about this plant

Pachycladus Blue Cactus - Pilosocereus pachycladus
The Pachycladus Blue is one of those plants that genuinely stops people in their tracks. Its tall, ribbed columns are coated in a powdery blue-green bloom, cool and quietly impressive, with clusters of golden-brown spines along each ridge adding warmth and texture. It's a plant that rewards a second look.

Native to north-east Brazil, Pilosocereus pachycladus grows tall in sun-baked scrubland in the wild. At home it asks for much the same: a sunny spot, very little water, and free-draining soil. Give it those things and it'll get on with growing without any fuss.

This plant is also known as the Blue Torch Cactus.

A south-facing windowsill is ideal. Water every 2-3 weeks in spring and summer, letting the compost dry out completely between waterings. In autumn and winter, water very sparingly.

Decorative pot not included.
