Rudolph's team has left something for the garden, and thankfully it's flowers. Each carton holds around 10 to 12 mini seed balls made from wildflower seeds, compost and clay, with the pack's own advice: Drop it. Press it. Bloom.
Drop them onto soil or compost, press down gently, water well and wait for flowers. The mix is Common Poppy, Common Vetch, Bird's-foot Trefoil, Corn Marigold, Cornflower and Corn Cockle.
Small enough for a stocking and silly enough for Secret Santa, and the only present on the list that's still going long after the wrapping paper has gone.
