A little about this plant

Hibiscus Pink - Hibiscus syriacus

The Hibiscus Pink is a hardy flowering shrub that produces large, open blooms in soft pink from August into October - when most other garden shrubs have stopped. It's deciduous and slow to come back into leaf in spring, which can catch people off guard, but it's absolutely fine - just patient. The hardy hibiscus improves with age, flowering more freely each year. Give it a sunny, sheltered spot and it'll reward you every late summer and autumn.

outdoor plant FAQs

How long should I wait until repotting my outdoor plant?

Your outdoor plant will be happiest planted into the garden as soon as possible after it arrives, provided the ground isn't frozen or waterlogged.
Spring and autumn are the best seasons for planting, but with a little extra watering, many outdoor plants can also be planted successfully during summer.

How often should I water it?

Water well after planting, then continue watering regularly for the first few weeks while the roots establish.

Will the plant surive all year round outside?

Most outdoor plants are chosen to grow outside and can happily stay outdoors all year round. However, this does depend on the specific plant variety and the conditions in your garden.
