Planted in a gingerbread-themed pot with its own gingerbread-house ornament and boxed up ready to give, this little succulent asks for very little in return. Its thick leaves store their own water supply, so it's built to survive being left on a desk and forgotten about (we've all been there).
Pop it somewhere bright, ideally a sunny windowsill, and water sparingly - only once the soil's bone dry.
Safe around pets and little ones, and about as forgiving as houseplants come.
