The Cottage Climbers - Trachelospermum jasminoides, Clematis vit. 'Polish Spirit', Rosa 'New Dawn'
A wall covered in flowers does something to a garden that nothing else quite manages. It feels cared for. Lived in. Like someone who really knows what they're doing chose every plant deliberately. These three climbers will do exactly that to any fence, wall or support you point them at.
Star jasmine goes up first - evergreen, sweetly fragrant and covered in delicate white flowers that practically glow come evening. It's the climber people stop and ask about, every time. Clematis 'Polish Spirit' runs alongside it with wave after wave of rich purple blooms from early summer all the way through to September - one of the longest-flowering clematis you can grow, and effortless with it. Then there's Rosa 'New Dawn'. Blush pink, generously flowered and romantic in the way that only the very best climbing roses ever manage to be.
All three need a wall, fence or support to climb. Star jasmine is evergreen and keeps your wall covered year-round. Flowers June to September.

Your outdoor plant will be happiest planted into the garden as soon as possible after it arrives, provided the ground isn't frozen or waterlogged.
Spring and autumn are the best seasons for planting, but with a little extra watering, many outdoor plants can also be planted successfully during summer.
Water well after planting, then continue watering regularly for the first few weeks while the roots establish.
Most outdoor plants are chosen to grow outside and can happily stay outdoors all year round. However, this does depend on the specific plant variety and the conditions in your garden.
